Welcome to the “BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE” Theme

Greetings and welcome to my first theme. I’ve been a theme junky for a long time but have just enjoyed the fruits of other people’s labor. I know what I like and don’t like in a theme so that’s what you will and won’t find here. A color scheme that is easy to read and easy on the eyes. Empty and full recycle bins you can tell apart. A “working in background” cursor with an arrow on it so you can know where to click. No sounds for menus, popups, restores, or open files because I think they are a nuisance. A self-extracting file that puts all of the elements in the right files making it easy to install. Not quite as elegant as the themes that Vanessa Zoe or Ooh Betty put together (they’re the BEST!) but hopefully one you will enjoy. The sound clips are by kd lang , Ferron and Sarah McLachlan. "BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE" is a sexy romp of love and lust with surprising results. Maggie (Karyn Dwyer) meets the woman of her dreams Kim (Christina Cox) just hours before her mother, Lilia (Wendy Crewson), and brother, Paul (Kevin Mundy), move in with her. When the four end up sharing a loft, Maggie believes she must keep her affair a secret but it is Maggie's clandestine romance that inadvertently introduces her family to a host of new experiences, all of which are potentially better than chocolate.

The film, directed by Anne Wheeler, written and co-produced by Peggy Thompson and produced by Sharon McGowan, will open in theatres nation wide in August 1999. The film features Wendy Crewson, Karyn Dwyer, Christina Cox, Ann-marie MacDonald, and Peter Outerbridge.

"BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE" won the Millivres Multimedia Audience Award for Most Popular Film at the 1999 London Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and was winner of the Best Feature Film Audience Award at Inside Out, the 1999 Toronto Lesbian & Gay film Festival.

The soundtrack includes songs by Sarah McLachlan, Ani DiFranco, Bif Naked, and Ferron among others.
