PFLAG Boulder County, Boulder, Colorado, is one of over 460 affiliates of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, a naional non-profit organization.
Our mission, as established by our parent organization, is:
- SUPPORT--To cope with an adverse society
- EDUCATION-- To enlighten an ill-informed public
- ADVOCACY- To end discrimination and secure equal civil rights.
We are a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) corporation; a volunteer, local community based group; a membership organization open to anyone and everyone who supports our mission.
PFLAG Boulder holds regular meetings where parents, friends, and relatives of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered persons can come together to discuss common issues confidentially in a supportive atmosphere.
