COLORADO PFLAG COALITION

After the passage of Amendment 2 in Colorado, new PFLAG chapters were formed all over the state. These chapters came together in 1993 and formed a coalition to share information and lend each other support.

The efforts of this group have been concentrated on improving the school situation for gay and lesbian youth. To this end we have sent information to every school in the state, participated in Channel 9 Health Fairs, presented workshops to teachers and counselors, and participate in the Safe Schools Coalition.
