Web Authoring

I have done most of the oldest pages on this site by hand, using an OS/2 port of the Unix editor, vi, and the OS/2 System Editor. Some larger documents were first done in Describe Word Processor and converted to a basic HTML document with the program rtftohtml. Later pages were developed with the Bluefish HTML editor on the Linux platform, and most recently with the Seamonkey Composer program, still on Linux (SuSE).

I was webmaster of the Reconciling Ministries Network site from its inception to September, 2002. I developed this site using Open Source tools like The GIMP (for graphics), Bluefish (for html) on the Linux platform. That site has gone through a couple of iterations and changes since I worked on it.

I maintain the Warren United Methodist Church web site, using some photos and recordings I make, as well as bulletins, announcements, and other content we develop.

The most recent fun I've had was in rolling out a new Joomla-based CMS site for RMCUMC.org, the site for my current job. Visit it and see our work.
