Warren United Methodist Church

A Community of Reconciliation Serving Capitol Hill and Beyond...

Warren Church is located on Capitol Hill in Denver, a church with an active social concerns ministry. During the 50s and 60s, it laid plans for and built Warren Village, an agency which helps single parents get a fresh start in life. Visit our Web site!

We participate in the Capitol Hill United Ministries cooperative ministry, including the Coupon program, which has raised over $400,000 for Capitol Hill human service agencies.

Our pastor is Eunsang Lee. He is leading us into new territories of urban ministry.

We have many activities and projects, including parish a nurse, a nurturing ministry for our elderly members and others, intergenerational dinners which help understanding and reconciliation between generations, and an adult forum that explores many different issues in living the faith.

We joined the Reconciling Ministries Network in November, 1999, after studying and talking (and arguing at times!).

Warren Church is a welcoming church, welcoming folks of all sexual orientations, economic status, races, cultures, and abilities. It is a church working to be a place of hospitality for all in the inner city.

Our Purpose Statement says who we are.
