Sprague Lake is an accessible lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, just down from Bear Lake. It has picnic grounds, accessible camping, and fishing (well, I don't but lots of people do). It also has this view of the Continental Divide.
The path around the lake and back to the campground is wide, pretty smooth and level, so scooters and chairs can navigate easily.
I like the mountains. I like to visit them when I can, especially Mount Evans and Rocky Mountain National Park. I get a sense of perspective again when I look at them on my way to and from work on I-25 and out my back door at home.
I spent a restful day here in August, 1995, when this picture was taken.
