Here we are at Maggie's Commissioning as a Probationary Elder in the
Rocky Mountain Conference of The United Methodist Church. She was
ordained a Full Elder at the June 2007 session of the Annual Conference.
After an experience with hospice care of a good friend, she
determined that she wanted to be a hospice chaplain.
She graduated in 1999 from the Iliff School of Theology with a Master
of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. She's a fellow
explorer, risk-taker, and loves life.
Here she is blessing a crowd of boys at a school in Tanzania, where
she visited in 2006 the Selian Lutheran Hospice, the sister hospice to
The Denver Hospice, where
she works.

She knows that the experience of death and dying teaches us a lot
about life and living. You can read a sermon or two of hers at
the Warren UMC website.
We've been married since June 8, 1969, and have been involved in some part of gay, lesbian, bi concerns for most of those years, including Affirmation: United Methodists for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Concerns and the Reconciling Ministries Network.
We have also been involved in sexuality education workshops in and for the church when we were in Southern California and in Nebraska.
